This event, organised by the General Council of Loiret is a great opportunity to see and enjoy the tourist attractions and the activities available.
Three weekend breaks are available:
GET ONBOARD FOR THE LOIRE CARAVAN!
- 4th and 5th September
Saturday 4th September :
Arrival during the day in Montargis, take part in the Loire Caravan festivities (great variety of restaurants in town).
Night in ** hotel with breakfast
Sunday 5th September :
In the morning, take a walk around Montargis, "Venice of Gâtinais" a town with 131 bridges and gateways, drop in for a gourmet treat at the Maison de la véritable Prasline, founded in the reign of King Louis XIII…
Meet at 12:30 in Châlette-sur-Loing for lunch on the waterfront then leave at 3pm for a 2-hour guided tour of the Lake of Cepoy on a small river boat (Edel 6.65 m) !

The price includes: a night in a double room with breakfast in ** hotel, lunch excluding drinks and visit to the Lake of Cepoy in a sailing boat with a guide and take part in the Loire Caravan festivities
CRUISE WITH THE LOIRE CARAVAN!
- 5th and 6th September 2010
Sunday 5th September :
Arrival in the morning in Briare. Take part in the Loire Caravan festivities, with a fireworks display on Sunday evening.
Dinner in a Briare restaurant on the marina.
Monday 6th September :
11am, leave for a 3-hour lunch cruise along the famous Pont-Canal. 2.30 pm visit the Mosaic and Enamal Museum that exhibits buttons, mosaic and pearls since the beginning of the nineteenth century.
Night in ** hotel with breakfast.

Arrival in the morning in Orléans, take part in the days' Loire caravan festivities including evening concert with the Bagad de Lann Bihoué (varied and multi-cultural set of Breton music) and firework display (great variety of restaurants in town).
Night in *** hotel on the banks of the Loire with breakfast.
Sunday 12th September:
In the morning, visit the historic town centre of Orléans and its most prestigious monuments: Hotel Groslot, the eighteenth century Saint-Croix Cathedral…
Lunch on a traditional nineteenth century passenger ferry that used to run between Orléans and Nantes (quayside)…
